Effective 22 October 2026 · pixelup.net
PixelUp uses as little browser storage as it can. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking on the website. This page lists everything the site stores in your browser.
1. Strictly necessary
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| pu_session | api.pixelup.net | Keeps you signed in after you enter your email code. HttpOnly, sent only to our API. | 30 days, or until you sign out |
| cf_clearance, __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Bot protection and the "verify you are human" check that guards uploads. | Up to 30 minutes |
| Paddle checkout cookies | Paddle, our merchant of record, inside the checkout window only | Completing a purchase and preventing fraud. | Session |
2. Browser storage, not cookies
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember small conveniences such as the last tool you picked, and briefly holds a photo you selected for the Erase editor while the page changes. This data never leaves your device and is cleared when you clear site data.
3. Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views without cookies and without identifying visitors across sites. Funnel events on our own servers, such as "upload" or "paid", are tied to your account only if you are signed in.
4. No advertising cookies
The website sets no advertising or social-media cookies. The free iPhone app shows ads from Google AdMob; that is covered in the Privacy policy and controlled by the iOS tracking prompt.
5. Your choices
Because every cookie above is needed for the site to work, there is no consent banner. You can delete them at any time from your browser settings; signing out removes the session cookie. Questions: support@pixelup.net.
