PixelUpTerms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Snowpex, the publisher of PixelUp. By using the PixelUp app or pixelup.net you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
PixelUp enhances, restores and edits photos using AI models and on-device tools. Some tools are available only in the iPhone app, some only on the web, and we may add, change or retire tools at any time. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, to use PixelUp.
2. Credits, subscriptions and payments
- Welcome credits. New accounts receive 12 free credits, enough for two runs, once per person.
- Credits. Every run uses credits: 6 at 1K, 10 at 2K, 16 at 4K, with the download included. The cost is shown before you confirm. Failed runs are refunded automatically. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and expire with your account.
- Subscriptions grant a credit allowance each billing period and renew automatically until cancelled. In the app, subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple; cancel in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before renewal. On the web, subscriptions are billed by our payment provider; cancel from the Account page and the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Credit packs are one-time purchases and do not renew.
- Refunds are covered in the Refund policy below.
- Price changes apply to renewals after we notify you in the app or by email.
- One balance. If you sign in with the same email, credits bought on the web are available in the app. App purchases remain in the app under Apple's rules.
3. Refund policy
We want you to be happy with every purchase. This is how refunds work:
- Web purchases, credit packs and subscriptions. Request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase if you have not used any of the credits it added. Email support@pixelup.net with the email you signed in with; we process it within 5 business days and the money returns to your original payment method through Paddle, our merchant of record.
- Partly used purchases. Credits already spent on HD downloads are not refundable, because the AI processing cost was incurred at that moment. If something went wrong with a download, tell us and we refund the credits for that job.
- Subscription renewals. Cancel from your Account page before the renewal date and nothing further is charged. A renewal that charged you by mistake, for example right after a cancellation, is refunded in full on request.
- Failed or broken results. Jobs that fail are never charged. If a result was charged but is unusable, we refund the credits.
- App Store purchases. Purchases made inside the iPhone app are billed by Apple and refunded by Apple under its policy at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Your legal rights. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under the consumer law of your country, including the EU and UK rules on digital content.
4. Your content
You keep every right you have in the photos you upload and the results you create. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display your photos and results only to provide the service to you. You confirm that you own or have permission to use every photo you upload, that it does not infringe anyone's rights, and that anyone shown in it has consented where consent is needed. If a photo includes a minor, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian or have proper consent.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use PixelUp to:
- create sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery of anyone;
- harass, defame, impersonate or deceive, or remove watermarks and credits from other people's work;
- upload malware, probe or overload our systems, or bypass credit, rate or device checks;
- resell the service or use automated tools to access it without our written permission;
- break any law.
We may remove content, refuse jobs and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
6. AI results
Results are generated by machine-learning models. They are reconstructions, not records: details such as faces, text and backgrounds may be filled in by the model and may differ from reality. Do not rely on an enhanced image as evidence of what a scene actually looked like. You are responsible for how you use results.
7. Our intellectual property
PixelUp, its apps, website, design, models and marks belong to Snowpex or its licensors. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond using the service.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep PixelUp available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change these terms; material changes are announced in the app or on the site, and continued use after the effective date means you accept them.
9. Disclaimers and liability
PixelUp is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for content you create or share. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
10. Termination
You can stop using PixelUp at any time and delete your web account from the Account page. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. Sections 4, 6, 7, 9 and 11 survive termination.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Snowpex is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Disputes go to the courts of that country unless the law gives you the right to sue where you live.
