Why screenshots blur, and what gets fixed
A screenshot rarely leaves the phone the way it was taken. Each hop shrinks and recompresses it. PixelUp reverses the damage that matters.
Text edges come back
Chat apps resize screenshots and recompress them as JPEG, which turns letter edges into mush. The sharpening pass rebuilds those edges so small UI text and captions become legible again.

Is this free?

Can it make unreadable text readable?
If letters are partly visible, yes, they sharpen into readable text. If the text is a solid smear with no letter shapes left, no tool can recover it honestly, and PixelUp will not invent words.
Does it change the colors or layout?
No. The screenshot keeps its exact layout, colors and proportions. Only sharpness, noise and compression damage change.
Will it work on a screenshot that was forwarded many times?
That is the most common case. Each forward adds compression; the pass removes the accumulated blocks and sharpens what is left.
What about a photo of a screen?
Yes. Moiré and soft focus from photographing a monitor are reduced. Reflections and glare are not removed.
What sizes can I download?
1K, 2K or 4K on the long edge, as JPG or PNG. 4K is about 4096 pixels, enough for an A3 print.
